Associate Professor Arunima Malik participated as a lead author for the development of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, Working Group III: Mitigation of Climate Change. The Report features seventeen chapters, with the first being Introduction and Framing. The Report presents a comprehensive global assessment of emissions trends and drivers, mitigation pathways, role of sectors in emission reduction, social aspects of mitigation and the role of investment, finance and international cooperation for accelerating transition in the context of sustainable development.
Professor Manfred Lenzen and Associate Professor Arunima Malik were invited as lead authors for the LANCET COVID-19 COMMISSION TASK FORCE ON GREEN RECOVERY. They contributed to the development of a report on global recovery from COVID-19.
